Atomx turned two | Happy Anniversary! On October 1, 2017 the Atomx Ad Exchange turned 2 years. How did it all begin? In 2013 a bunch of ad network veterans saw a gap in the existing ad tech market, and started brainstorming on a better, more openminded ad exchange. In 2014 we bought the domain name, gathered a team and started on our big task: to create an ad exchange which would fulfill most advertisers’ and publishers’ needs.

In January 2015 a beta version was going live – only accessible to a handful of trusted partners. At dmexco 2015 in Cologne we officially announced Atomx to the public. With our own booth at this convention and a massive number of appointments, we got everyone up to a good start. That happened on October 1, 2015. The Affiliate Summit West 2016 in Las Vegas was our second expo, where we met many more potential new clients. Other conventions followed. Until today 450 ad networks, DSPs and SSPs did connect with Atomx. Roughly 2.0 to 2.5 billion ad requests roll in every day. 55% are PC, 45% are mobile web and app traffic.
