Self-serve DSP and SSP Options | No doubt, 2017’s biggest improvement in the Atomx Ad Exchange was the launch of our self-serve DSP and SSP options. We added both services to the top menu in our Atomx UI in December. Trusted partners can now add RTB and XML advertisers to their buy side and RTB/XML publishers to their sell side inventory. Both are pretty much comparable with a regular advertiser or publisher in Atomx. The difference is the endpoint URL …

Pricing: This service is not completely free of charge, but the fee is very low. Atomx is sending bid requests to your DSP endpoint URLs. As long as you are buying them, no additional fee occurs. Bid requests you did ignore will cause a DSP Fee of $0.0001 per 1000 unsold bid requests. In our Atomx Reporting this traffic can be found under ‘Billable Requests’ (see picture). The DSP Fee covers Atomx’ ad serving cost and reminds you to act cost conscious. You can avoid part of this cost by setting up proper filters. Examples: Setting up an Inventory Targeting that only allows the banner sizes 300×250 and 160×600 to be send to your DSP endpoint will stop Atomx from sending you bid requests from other unwanted banner sizes. A geo filter only allowing traffic from United States and Canada will stop Atomx to send you unwanted traffic from the rest of the world. Pricing: For unsold bid requests, our self-serve SSP service is not free of charge. Although the fee per 1,000 unsold ad requests is very low. Atomx will invoice an SSP/DSP fee of $0.0001 CPM for 1,000 unsold ad requests. This fee covers Atomx’ ad serving cost and reminds users of this new tool to act cost conscious. Sellers can avoid part of this cost by setting up proper filters. Example: A high minimum floor prize on the SSP side will cause less ad requests being sold in Atomx. SSP/DSP fee (invoiced): see https://wiki.atomx.com/fees
